I have both and like a few others have said. Dobyns fury’s are great treble hook bait rods. If dobyns made the 807 and 867 in the fury they would have stepped into the 8”+ soft bait game. I have the diawa DX extra heavy 3-10oz. I love it for for hudds and the 9.5 weedless nates bait. I want to get my hands on the extra extra heavy but I can’t find them anymore. I should have when I had the chance. I also have the I-rod gen 2 Bailey swim and it’s a cool rod but I’m not in love with it. I think it’s the split grip that throws me off. It doesn’t feel like a beef stick. I use it for some bigger glides and 6” soft baits. Hope this helps.
