  1. For boat guys (no padded deck) what shoes do you find comfortable in the winter? I need a shoe/boot that is cushioned, waterproof, and ideally warm as o fish a lOt of days below freezing. After a day on the boat when I have to wear my mucks my knees and hips are killing me so I want to find something that is more comfortable.
  2. When you guys are talking the suspending jerkbait style, are you guys in deep or shallow water lakes?
  3. That makes sense. I think I need to shift my focus. I have started to find some deep rock piles in some new lakes down in the 30-50’ range and I think they will be good places to look. Thanks for the input.
  4. When you guys are fishing larger lakes do you tend to find you larger swimbait eaters near schools of fish (smaller bass) or are you tending to find those fish hanging by themselves? I haven’t had an issue finding fish but I have really struggled finding size recently. I feel like I hang up on schools hoping to drag a larger fish out when I should move to new fish
  5. He’s not always doing custom orders, but you might reach out to Justin at Nameless Customs. You can find him in Instagram the easiest. I’ve gone to him a number of times and I’ve been really happy with the product.
  6. Appreciate it. I think I am looking for a reel that can come down a little further than the 2 oz. The rod I am putting it on is up to 3oz so it won’t need to be those those bigger reels. I have other set ups for those bigger baits
  7. I am looking on reviews on 200 sized reels. Any and all. I posted a question about them in the underground and I am realizing I need to keep digging on reels and I am hoping people wouldn’t mind giving first hand accounts on those sized reels. Hopefully this can be a thread other members can come for a good overview on this sized reel
  8. The 150 models at least. I didn’t realize there was also a 300 size when I asked
  9. Does the scorpion fit in this class? I see that reel for sale on here from time to time but I don’t know anything about the reel
  10. So from what I am gathering, the 200s like the curado and the tatula aren’t great in terms of reliability? For the Zillions, does is need to be the 18 model or can it be the current model? Functionality to me matters 100-1 more than looks. I just want something I can always rely on paired up with a rod rated for 1/2-3oz. Some of my favorite baits are in that weight class so it will get a lot of use.
  11. I posted this in down time on accident. I am wondering what your recommendations are for 200 sized reels and why. I am going to run it on a do it all rod for up to 3oz. I either have conventional gear that is lews, Diawa, and shimano or the 300 size reels that are all shimano. I have not bought a 200 size reel yet. I am mostly between the curado 200 and the tatula 200 but I am open to suggestions on any brand. @chevro1et said to check out the 18 HD Zillion on that thread which sounds like a killer option.
