  1. I have been fishing the ghost code for a couple weeks now. I purchased the 7'10 Medium Heavy for glide baits and wake baits. The rod is rated for 1-4 oz lures. I feel as if the sweet spot is definitely in the 2 oz range. Lately, I have been fishing the storm Arashi Glide on it. The Arashi Glide is a little over 3 oz. The rod seems to bend a bit more with this bait but that also could be due to the moderate fast action. It does a decent job of casting the Arashi but I do not think the rod is suitable for a bait much larger than 3 oz. As I said though, this rod seems to be the perfect rod for that 2-3 oz range. It may however feel a bit too flimsy to most swimbait anglers. I personally like moderate action glide bait rods because I can get better hookups with treble hook baits. The rod has decent give for those larger, head shaking bites. Although moderate, it still has enough power to launch or accurately cast these baits into the spots you want to fish. The rod itself is extremely light (weight wise) and has a comfortable handle. The foam grips are a bit thicker than you would expect and the handle is long. I personally like both these features. The butt of the rod is a thick, durable, rubber knob which is great for beating around on the bank or leaning the rod against something. The real seat and eyes are premium for the price, however if you do break an eye or tip of the rod, F5 sells eye repair kits which are pretty handy. For a $200, so far, it is an extremely nice rod. I have it paired with a Daiwa Coastal 201 and its a solid fit. If anyone has had any other experiences or thoughts on the rod, I'd love to hear about it!
