You could also try a foot or so of the tieable wire made by Surflon or Rio, I fish it in 30-40lb for pike and works out nicely, I just triple surgeons a foot of it onto the end of my mono or flouro leader. Sometimes I'll use the 20lb when fishing heavily pickerel invested waters.
