Has anyone successfully ordered stuff from Zen Market? . It has some good stuff on it and wondering if it is legit. Also what would shipping be since they are out of Japan?

Finally "perfected" my shad glide after working off and on for 2 years. Its a 7.5 inch bait with the tail and weighs around 3.2 ounces. Was looking for a good choppy action that I can still fish slow if needed which I think I achieved. Still working on a way to consistently put the ballast lead in the correct area in the mold. What I have found is to take 1/16oz weights and attach them to the hook hangers in the correct area. Also looking for recommendations on a clear coat for the paint and also what to use for a flexible tail. I made a silicone mold and am using some construction adhesive to form a flexible tail. It works and is cheap but isn't pretty. Overall besides from a few bubbles in the mold and rough spot that can be sanded out I'm happy with the way it looks and how it swims. I tried the harness and it worked better than just placing them in there. For me drilling holes has to many variables that could affect the swim. I have a lead pot and make my own cylinders. Then I will cut them down to the correct length/weight. After I will drill a small hole through the weight to attach the wire and put it in the right spot for the mold

Why is there pink swimbaits? I feel like there are more swimbaits painted pink than traditional lures. Do bass see pink like a chartreuse? do they react better? My only guess is to highlight the bait in the water so the angler can follow the bait like a tracer. I was always under the impression with big baits is to match the hatch but I could be wrong. Thank you for any info.

If you make make a batch I will buy one in a shad color. Great swim and action. I can never get the ones that I make to glide so smooth.

What is the best brand of resin to use for 2 piece glides. I used alumilite rc-3 with microballons and there was a lot of air pockets. It also expanded a lot while it set in the mold. Does anyone have any recommendations on resin to use or what brand bait companies use? Thank you for any advice.

looks Good. Maybe just try adding some temporary weights and try it out and see what works best.

Just got into swim baiting a couple months ago. I haven't caught any monsters yet but one nice one. I have a deps 175 in keta bass, a 8 inch magdraft and some large paddle tails. I am wondering how y'all throw big swimbaits in Texas. I have been throwing the 175 around docks and points but have not even seen a follower. Also what would be the best color deps or other swimbait color to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
