    I just recently purchased one fished in the slop over the weekend Haven't caught anything big on it but I did latch into a decent one before it shook the hook (mind you I am a noob) I have a dobyns fury 806 and I hate it its just too damn heavy and wears you out fast The sniper is exactly what I was looking for and I can fish it all day with little fatigue I really like that its 7'6" as I am mostly a bank fisherman

    Curious to know how one determines the rod butt length , reel seat distance and guide placement for swimbait rods? Was trying to look online if there was some kind of formula or somewhere I could look for more info? TIA
