  1. I agree, I’ve been using it for years.
  2. I love working in the customer service industry. Client had some swimbaits sitting around collecting dust.
  3. The leather seems to be holding up fine so far. Just normal wear and tear.
  4. Ive been using the Patino without the frame. I have also been using grenade weights on the rear trebles just so I don’t have to mess with the leather and the stitching. It sinks the more you fish it, the more water it absorbs, I just prefer to run the grenade weight because it keeps it at a depth that I prefer. I do not know what the sink rate is for the Deniro, I am going to assume its similar to the Patino.
  5. I like the direct line tie with the San Diego jam. It’s been working for me, so far. But I can always experiment.
  6. Night and day difference, I have always used the clinch or improved clinch, because I that’s the way I grew up fishing and never had an issues. Thanks for the input!
  7. I can’t be the only crazy swimbaiter who throws the Patino’s, my question is do you guys use a snap in leu of tying directly to the lure? I’ve tried split rings and I cannot get the Patino to glide. I also made the switch to 25lb Seaguar AbrazX, the 25lb Big Game would tie nicely to the line tie using an improved clinch knot, old tried and true, while the AbrazX would not tie correctly to the line tie. I know some guys use snaps, I’ve always used split rings because I’ve never had one fail on me. Any help will be appreciated! Tight lines!
  8. Solid, those Trucha’s produce some quality fish.
  9. Oh, I might have to play hoodie from work to make it out there.
