No hate I respect saving baits/keeping them clean. But I wonder what our ancestors would have to say if they saw us putting rash guards on fishing lures….. I make my own usually w clear 3m tape or I fish the bait and fix the damage with clear nail polish

Help y’all. I’m looking to start carving baits here more for a hobby than anything else. My plan was making a rat so im using bass wood. But I don’t know much about what screw eyes, what material for bills, clear coat and best way to make the clear coat adhere properly. If y’all got any advice I’ll take anything.

Still haven’t dialed it in yet. If anyone had advice please hmu or lmk! Thank you

What hooks would you run on it? I don’t even know what hooks are on it, st35 maybe?

So I’ve watched bucca videos on tuning yet never adjusted the line tie. I don’t wanna mess up the bait.

Goooood morning Vietnam!! Alright y’all so I’m recently diving hard into swimbaits. I got a whipper snapper in a trade. Runs great at a slow retrieve using a 6:3:1 reel. Yet when I start to crank it down to a medium/fast speed it start to tilt to the left. Any tips on how I can make it run straight at a faster speed. Setup is leviathan MH, Tatula 300 6:3:1, XXX 20ib copoly. I am also seeing if that is just common and I’m fishing it completely wrong. pic is the first fish I got last night on it. Thank you all and to all a good night

I just got one two weeks ago. It will throw anything. It’s really just personal preference, like stated above it’s a broom stick. But the quality is amazing, just don’t horse the rod when you are casting. Here’s a 3ib I got on a 6in citizen two days ago.
