  1. I’ve personally caught some big bass and numbers on the Denali. I’ve heard some rumors on the new 8” Denali having some issues awhile back, but I haven’t experienced any issues with mine. They are definitely one of my confidence baits and throw them all the time. Ryan is a cool dude too.
  2. I can imagine… it’s always a good day when on the water!!
  3. Heck yeah man!! Congrats on the great day on the water!!
  4. Bump.. still looking for help!
  5. sweet.. thank you!! I kind of thought so, but had to ask!
  6. Hey everyone, I have a question. I recently purchased a Phoney Shad and it’s missing the bottom fin. Will that cause any issues and need to get replaced or is it fine as is? Thanks for the help!
  7. Hey everyone, I was wondering what y’all would recommend to me for hooks on a KGB Lengend. I have some that I can put on now, but if these aren’t what needs to be on it, I can get more! As of now, I have: ST-56 size 2 ST-36 1/0 BKK 21-SS size 1 STX- 38 size 2 Mustad triple grip 1/0 Thanks for any and all help!
  8. That is pretty wicked! Would be pretty sweet on a Shad pattern too
  9. You wouldn’t happen to have any pics would you?? I’ve definitely been kicking around the idea of getting a bass pattern!
  10. Hey everyone, I’m in the process of purchasing 6 KGB baits and likely going to get all repainted. It’s a Benson, Legend, 2 smooth Chad Shad’s and 2 Spro Chads. As of now I’m pretty set on Colorado Custom Lures beings I have two from them and really like her work. I’m more so having issues with deciding on what schemes I want. So I came here to see what y’all think and see some different paint schemes. For more of a background, I’m in Texas so preferably based off of our forage base. I’ll attach the KGB that I already have from them. Thank you for any and all ideas!
  11. Hung two more good’ns on Lake Fork! I decided to get out of West Texas and head East. This was my first time on Fork and she sure showed out. I didn’t get a DD, but still gotta love big bass!
  12. Thanks brother! I grew up fishing in the salt and started bass fishing April of 22… I’m hooked! Fished many places in the world for all kinds of different species and I will say that there’s no fish on the planet I want more than a teener. I prefer the process though and gradually work my way up to that. They really are. I fish OH Ivie pretty regular and see them consistently at the marina and on FFS. Fish like that are absolutely unreal and definitely not easy to fool. When I hung her, I thought she was a no doubt DD! Had the build, but unfortunately she was on the skinny side! Nonetheless I’m amped up to the max!
  13. Personally, I think the sharelunker program is an advertising program just as much as a breeding program. Once they go live with a new lake catching a sharelunker it gets hammered hard. Look at Ivie, I know it’s a phenomenon with sheer amount of large bass, but its been an insane fishery for a very long time. It’s just taken BM & JJ putting it out to the world creating this madness. It’s truly a mad house from December through May. It’s brought a lot of money to a very remote part of Texas though. Most original residents hate it, but the local economy loves it! On the grand scale, releasing 300,000 fingerlings on a 16,000 acre reservoir isn’t much. There’s more natural breeding by a long long shot on an annual basis. Just my two cents!
  14. Thanks brother! It’s definitely been a process. Some are blessed and crack giants right out the gate, but not this guy! Haha I wouldn’t have it any other way though. I love the grind!! Keep on rippin brother
  15. Thanks man, 8.2 is a heck of a fish! With this bass, I skipped straight from 7.14 to 9.3! Quite the jump and I couldn’t be more amped up. Good luck
  16. Thanks man, she sure is a beauty!!
  17. Thanks man and I hope so. I’m getting closer and closer haha
  18. Good stuff man! It’s tough getting over that hump! Haha fingers crossed brother!!
  19. Thanks man. She is definitely a unit! She had the build to be in the double digit club, but was pretty skinny. Awesome catch though
  20. I’ve been on the pursuit for a lunker for some time now just like every one of you crazy’s. That’s what really made me gravitate to large swimbaits here the past few months. Going in to this season, my personal best was 7lb 6oz while losing some bigger bass along the way. Since I started throwing swimbaits, I’ve now topped that weight twice, and shattered my previous PB this past weekend. This old heifer absolutely cranked my Biggs Denali and weighed in at 9lb 3oz! When we boated her, I thought no doubt she was a 10+. Just goes to show how big and special these fish really are. The feeling of being so close, but yet so far will really fuel my quest now. I had 3 others that were of the same caliber swipe at it, just didn’t get a hook in’em!
  21. Sweet.. thank you very much! I’ll have to give those a try!!
  22. Ehh if the fish don’t care, nor do I! Haha is there a hook in particular that you like most with it?
  23. I just picked one up not too long ago. They look awesome in the water. Just need to get it infront of some fish now!
  24. Any of the Biggs Customs. I’ve been slamming solid bass on the Denali for more numbers, but the Kraken owns my top two PB swimbait bass.
  25. Sooo.. what about a lightly used citizen, a home made bait and $200? Asking for a friend…
