  1. Fishing in Chequamegon Bay is a frequent activity for me, given my lake cabin's location in NW Wisconsin. For those struggling with nuisance pike bites and the occasional muskie bite, I highly recommend the 40# RIO Wire Bite Tippet material. This knotable braided leader material is excellent; I use an 18" "shock leader" tied to my braid mainline with a back-to-back double Uni-knot. Last season, I didn't lose a single lure to the toothy critters of Chequamegon Bay! If you choose this method, please consider getting a good pair of miniature wire snips for cutting the Wire Bite material. With that, you're all set for a bite-free fishing experience—best of luck and may you catch lots of fish!
  2. Gan Craft Killers-00 KG-00 6-710EXH Dead Sword is the perfect short TK and GC Jointed Claw 178 rod since that's what it was designed to present!
