I found if you let the denali sink down a ft or 2 and start violently jerking it like a huge jerkbait it will send some bass into a frenzy. Have caught em pretty good doing so.

I fish the six sense flowglider 130 a good bit. I smash em on this bait, however hookup ratio is not always the greatest. The bait comes with mustad ewgs. The website says size 1, but the hooks look way bigger than a number 1 to me. Wondering what size and brand round bends I can give a go without ruining the action I have with this bait? I do the milliken mods to them and catch glide fish on them more than any bait I have. Great tounament bait as well.

Well I finally have figured out how to work this bait to suit my needs. The new blank that was sent to me definitely works better than the former. I have been working this thing like a spook on the surface and just below the surface. I have found it works better for me in flat calm water as you ha e to work this guy alot slower than most glides.

@kaspersocalYeah I noticed some small differences in the bait. Bigger tail, body seemed a lil fatter in some spots.

So I got in contact with Mr. Ryan Biggs. Shipped the bait back to him. Few days later I received a box in the mail. He sent me a new blank and the original bait I had mailed back. Pretty happy about that. Now we see how she acts in the water friday morning after work!!

Working2Fish I use vicious 30 lb mono now. Line diameter is 017. I've tried 20lb red label floro and strike king contra 20 lb floro with the same results. Never had any issues like I'm having with this one. It sinks perfectly horizontal. Noses to the surface rather quick with just a few chops

justintrask thanks man I'm gonna give it a shot 2marrow. Hopefully it works. Just a bad experience with my first custom glide. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I post the results after my trip monday.

Chaozu I appreciate the comment. I asked him if he threw it any. He said he tested it in a test tank. He told me if it still gives me trouble let him know. I've already spent 12 bucks shipping it back once. He sales the crap out of these things. They are an awesome looking bait. They just need some modification in the way its weighted I think. Or a different hinge system. If it swam correctly I'd be happy with it.

I have. I sent the bait back to him. He added a split ring to the front and put 1/0 hooks on it. I told him I already tried that. He said it stayed down and sent it back. It is still not running right.

I received my Biggs custom baits Denali 8 recently. This is my first resin bait. I had lots of other plastic body glides that I've done really well with. The bait seems to want to nose up out of the water after 2 or 3 quarter turns or chops. Cannot burn the bait without it blowing out quickly and sking on its side. I've tried extra slit rings and upsizing the hooks to 1/0 2x trebles. Anyone else have any experience with this bait or had the same issue? Thanks!
