  1. Very clean setup. I think this is gonna be my approach. Did you customize that bag yourself or was it some kind of swimbait underground collab? Either way, very nice. I do agree that I need a net. I managed to land a 7 the other day on my yak with a K9 in its mouth by hand. Definitely not ideal and could have gone badly... Any net recs?
  2. This is really nice, thanks for sharing. Definitely looking for something up this alley.
  3. I've been the believer of the 'take a few baits that work well' mentality when it comes to what I bring with me each time I go out. I find myself downsizing over and over to the point where I now only want to take a few (3-4) baits with me in a small, portable setup that can be easily carried on the bank or on my kayak. I have a small backpack i really like that has the following contents: 2 standard cheap Flambeau plastic boxes - One i've cut/grinded out the dividers in order to fit swimbaits, the other I keep filled with some non swimbait gear which is never used nowadays, but i still find myself bringing it along... WCZ travel measuring mat Scale Pliers Ideally i'd like to get this down to just 1 box that can fit 3-4 swimbaits in up to 10 inches. Curious if anyone's run across something that fits that niche well. Also, what 3-4 are you bringing? Lately for me its: K9 WCZ Citizen 7 TK, weighted and yotomaki rigged Backup of one of the 3 (probably a second TK)
  4. Looks healthy. How'd you fish the K9? Lip in mode A?
  5. Looking to trade one or both 'like-new' DRT TinkyKlash for any WCZ baits, please send offers. Trade only. DRT Bass has never been thrown - just out of the box. Queen has been thrown once but has little to no hook rash. Also would entertain trades for trout-style baits. Just trying to see whats out there. Thanks for looking! IMG_9236.HEIC IMG_9240.HEIC

  7. I've been running the same setup in both fresh and salt for the past two years now and as long as I give the reel a good rinse after taking it out on the surf or kayak, it hasn't had a problem. I'm running a Dobyns Fury 795S MH swimbait rod with a Okuma Citrix 364LX reel. The reel is seemingly very durable and works in both pretty well. I'm mainly throwing the same baits for both fresh and salt too, so it works.
  8. Thanks fellas. The trick with these is to fish them as TIGHT to cover as possible. For me the success has been fishing them around rockbeds or cliffs since i can cast right up to the walls. I struggle a bit more fishing them next to reeds or in grass since I can't cast as tight or I risk getting stuck up every time.
  9. Picked up the new Laser Spex TinyKlash last week and was finally able to get a few on it this week. It was my first time fishing the TK and I found most of my success coming from fishing it with the lip out, and tail in mode B (facing down). This action isn't as good as the same mode on the Klash 9, but it’s nearly there - I just found the K9 to entice fish more. I’ve noticed less followers on the TK and more out-right strikes versus the K9 which would bring followers and then entice them to strike. Both baits really produce and have incredible action in the water. Takes a trip or two to really dial in how the bait works but it’s very intuitive (and versatile). No monster on either DRT baits yet; but I know it’s coming.
