  1. I appreciate the feedback, I am trying to find that happy medium where I have a solid arsenal with truly quality baits, but not spending an absolute fortune to get there. I haven’t caught a ton so far, but I also have only fished notoriously tough bodies of water, in colder weather at that. My most productive bait, believe it or not, has been the tactical wake. That thing gets me a ton of bites, especially at night. And I’ve been fishing the Chimara Shad for a week or so and that thing is nice, almost completely neutrally buoyant, you can just keep that thing suspended in the strike zone with that super slow walking-glide. I really think I’ll catch some tanks with that one, as I’ve had my most(and biggest) followers on it. I’m thinking 2 more baits, 3 at most, and I’ll just settle in with my arsenal and get dialed in. thanks for the insight
  2. After years of fishing conventional tackle, I’ve finally committed myself to swim baits, and I love it. Wish I would have done it much sooner. I have a collection of the more entry-level baits: a few Spro Chad shads, a Baitsanity Antidote, a Baitsanity Explorer, an Explorer Gill, a Gantarel & Gantarel Jr., 2 Tactical Wakes, and 2 Chimara Shads. I really vibe with most of these, particularly the Explorer Gill, Tactical Wake, and Chimara Shad(probably the most refined in my arsenal). I’m looking to buy another 9”-10” glide and possibly a gill glide/wake that are in that next tier, but honestly don’t know enough to feel confident making a choice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I’m just a newbie just beginning my journey down the rabbit hole.
