Is the XH a good rod for things like a battle shad and baits where the hook is in the bait. Also do you recommend braid, mono or fluro to be used with this rod?

Are they good for heavy soft jig hook swimbaits/stinger rig and ones with a beast hook style rig?

I'm new to swimbait underground so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but what are some good recommendations for softbait rods, looking for something to throw 3-8 oz soft baits.
