Starting posting a little more his recently and figured I would post my PB from the past spring. No scales and didn't want to kill her waiting for a buddy with scales to come from the other side of the lake. Caught at 1:30 in the afternoon, on a windblown point, swimming it over....Baitsmith Mag fish with stock jig hook and one stinger ran down the belly.

From the album: Maxwell S. - Year 2015
This is my official PB. She went 8-13 and just like the 7.3, she was feeding on trout, but was unfortunately skinny from a tough winter. -
Caught my new pb today on the got em coach real gill 7" slow sink. Equipment was okuma Citrix 364 with 20 lb p line copolymer and Phenix m1 8" heavy. Big spawner female full of eggs, got whacked reeling very slowly from a cast next to a floating dock and landed this Georgia giant. Didn't weigh the fish but guesstimated around 7-8 pounds. Had not caught a fish for 2 hours up until this one but that's fine with me! Spring fishing is on!!

First time catching a swimbait limit worth sharing. 3rd cast BOOM! Solid fish, I didn't bring a scale, but I have a fair idea of the size of the fish that day. Used a Dobyn's 867, Shimano 300 TE, and a ROF 5 Top Hook Hudd. In order of being caught, and after talking with many people about the weights, I have a good estimate of how much they weighed: 8lbs 7lbs BIG GIRL!!! Worst day to not know, but this thing was 26" long and was fat, I am pretty sure it was at least nine. So I am making it my unofficial PB. Caught to more smaller ones, 5 and a 4!
