How often do you guys get out on the water to fish ? As well as what is your game plan when you get out there or do you prefer to just wing it ?

Hey guys so as the post says I was curious as to what moments or memories stand out to you the most since you began targeting bass or any species with Swimbaits. I’ll go first, my most memorable moment was when I caught a fish on my code name bass that my girlfriend got me for a birthday gift after I mentioned how cool it was in a YouTube video I had seen. I had 0 knowledge about the proper gear to throw such a massive bait, and swimbait fishing tk be honest. Just a massive bait. So I tied it on my 4–8 oz rod with straight 60lb braid and caught my first to me, giant bass. On a completely underrated setup and it will always stick w me. Nothing any smart ass could say about my gear would knock this achievement down for me and that’s why it’s my favorite memory. It sparked this determination and love I have now. My fishing friend is brand new to swimbaiting, i gave him a baby bull shad this morning and he reels into a fish, he snaps off said lure trying get the fish on the bank. Said fish jumps 20 seconds later trying to expel the bait from its lips. This left me wondering if that fish is going to die. What do you guys think.

Good Morning SU!, I'm kinda getting cabin fever here in central Floride and im thinking about going night fishing tonight. my question is does anyone night fish in winter the low tonight is 60 and the water temps are still in the 70s what shout i go throw would i be wasting my time throwing a Shizzard or phoney glide or should i keep it top water? Thank you for the help!
