So I was looking at buying a Triton Mike Bucca Bull Shad Slow Sinking Swimbait probably at 6” for my first. Read a lot of good things about it but was wondering what color should I go with first? Dirty Bone or Gizzard Shad? I would be throwing them basically exclusively at Dixon Lake and Lake Wohlford in Escondido, CA. I haven’t had any swimbait luck at either lake yet expect for a few followers so I was hoping this would be the bait to do it at this time of year? Any input would be appreciated, especially from you SD guys. Should I get this bait? Or am I wasting my time with this one at these particular lakes? Thanks!

Has anyone been throwing big swimbaits from shore at hodges? Was wondering if it's worth the time. I'm looking to change it up from Dixon and Wohlford. Throwing Deps 250&175.
