buzzed bait Posted May 2, 2022 Report Share Posted May 2, 2022 Had a day I won’t soon forget on Friday… first cast of the day I catch a 3.5-4 pounder on the @swimbaitunderground x Kurouto Monster Crawler! A few minutes later I catch a couple little twin 2 pounders on back to back casts on the crawler… a few minutes later I’m on FaceTime with my wife and daughter and hook into my new PB at 7lb10oz!! Too bad I was a day late on the monthly SUB tournament… A while later, I catch another little guy on the crawler and then that bite dies off. Then I decide to throw the Klash 9 until my arms fall off and was rewarded with a chunky 4-13 that smashed it over a deep laydown! The bite all but died it seemed like, but on the way back to the truck I was on FaceTime with my little niece and hooked a little one on the Tiny Klash and she thought it was too cool!! Man the past 4-5 trips on this lake the water has been steady at 48-50 degrees and I’ve caught a single fish here and there, one was a good one at 6-2, but they weren’t active yet by any means. This time when I launched the water was already up to 57 and I knew I had a chance at a good day because above 55 seems to be the magic number at this lake to get them activated! 12 minutes ago, bassbass said: That is awesome.
