Swimbait302
There have been a couple threads on this rod but for those who own one what is the lightest bait you’ve thrown on it? Could it handle a 68 hudd or a tk? I want a travel rod that can throw any bait. Looking for something similar to the megabass leviathan models that I could feel confident throwing an 8” hudd on but could also work a smaller glide or crankdown
Secretly Beloved
I would say you definitely can throw a 68 hud or even a TK. But with that said the rod I think is really stiff, might be a better jig hook rod. Also it’s not similar to the Levante, the Levante is much more soft in the tip section. I actually got rid of mines as it was a rod I didn’t need in my lineup. Swimbait302

I’ve heard it’s similar to the Blackjack and it’s rated up to 5.2oz. If you need a little bit more power to set the hook run braid to short leaders Swimbait302
