willlliw
Foanyone that fishes big baits in the Adirondacks, what baits or colors do you use? I catch lots of medium smallmouth and largemouth on conventional gear, but fish on big baits is always very difficult for me there. I caught 1 last year at 6lb 7oz on a rat, but in the rest of the week there I did not catch another fish at night. The lake I fish is the typicall stained dark brown color. Loudsplashbassn_
I'd stick to the rat seems like it paid off ..if you want numbers then throw the conventional. willlliw
Paulsbentpole
Not the addorndask but southern Ontario Canada, I do really well with any gill baits or perch patterns, typically switching from gill to trout style baits late fall.
