Dead stick trout

Anyone every catch anything on it? Thinking about picking one up for big blue catfish once they stock trout, so i get the jointed version or full body? Any information at all on that bait is helpful

I never fished the dead stick, but the deadtwitch is an awesome bait. With the right reel turns u can make it swim left and right. 

Definitely a patience bait though.

Good luck finding one, out of stock everywhere 

I had one and fished it for a year without a sniff, would toss it out covered in scent and let it bob around as I fished and drifted, always had it out and never a bite

but like @urbanhicksaid, watch out for birds, had an osprey dive bomb mine

I would throw it for big bluecatfish when they roll not bass so it would work for my application

Ya I just had this problem on the weekend lol 

Took 5 minutes for the eagles to ruin my game plans
