5-20
Bounced this workhorse off a rock. I like how the bone colored resin looks. The paint chipped off somewhat easily. I’m thinking maybe it wouldn’t be too much trouble to remove the paint. Any suggestions on how to do this without ending up with a stained or blotchy looking bait? Thanks. tybo jones
Keep in mind if you do mess with the bait or change the paint you will void the warranty. Mickey won’t touch it after that. Just FYI.
chevro1et
Probably be easier to just invest in another bait in bone colorway. LINK STRICTLY FOR PHOTO REFERENCE
buzzed bait
personally i wouldn't mess with that. not only will mickey not help fix the bait or anything in the future, but would likely mess with the sink rate and possibly the action of the bait so i'd say fish as is or try to acquire one in bone if you can. sadly i know where the resting place is for a bone that i broke off like an idiot last year... 5-20
Appreciate all of the suggestions. There was an older thread with suggestions that ranged from soaking it overnight in pine sol to using acetone. But wasn’t too sure about doing any of that. Yeah, probably should have just gone with a bone colored workhorse in the first place! Lol.
