  1. Here in South Korea and in Japan they are called 'sight marker' stickers.
  2. Not 100% but it looks like a CHR swimbait to me.
  3. Yr weather app. Works worldwide. Not sure if it's available for Apple.
  4. I have found that the transfer tail really does help out the action of the TK in glide mode, insofar as it seems to be easier to keep the bait in a consistent cadence. One other thing that I have noticed with both the TK and K9 is you can get them to dive deeper with a medium speed cadence. If you watch the bait, after it turns and stops, it will hover for a second and then turn nose down (which is the natural resting position). Then if you start the next input while it is in the nose down position, it will continue to work deeper. I have been able to replicate this with both the TK and the K9, glide mode and short lip / v-tail configurations.
  5. I see a bunch of freakazoid buggy eyed bass being caught in Japan at night on a variety of yokomati style baits (shallow lip, single joint, v-tail). I'm pretty sure that @Crazybassfisheridentified this pattern but I'll hold off on it since he has the juice on this one.
  6. If you're trying to be compact, a hard box is the wrong choice since there's always dead space. Bait wraps come in various shapes and sizes. The multi-pocket roll-up style are not for me, but many like and use them. Individual style wraps like @Fallof74 used to bring to market are my personal preference. Invariably the Home Depot Husky Document bags will also get mentioned. A small box with some extra terminal (rings / trebles / lead tape / grenade weights / DRT lips and tails / etc) plus essential tools (pliers / cutters / etc). Edit: just leave the conventional tackle at home, your bag will be much lighter. Then you don't need to bring a convenient setup either.
  7. Sold my Sly because the Baitsanity gets more attention in my waters. Also I'm not timid about putting it in tough spots since they are relatively affordable and easily available.
  8. @JohnMarino do you think the Jaw Jack'n CT 700 is a good candidate for this rigging method? I know you're familiar with those baits...
  9. Also, Episode 89 with Ben Linnell may be relevant.
  10. Check out Episode 27 of Scales n Tales podcast.
  11. Stock hardware on DRT baits is solid. No need to change out unless you have a specific hardware preference.
  12. Hope you find one, I really enjoy my 18 Zillion HD CC with any lipped baits.
  13. Kazki Hotta (known as KZ, a DRT field staff in AZ) just posted on his story about using low viscosity acrylic cement to seal cracks etc. in ABS baits.
  14. I think a lot of the Signal baits look really good, definitely very limited if any North American distributors.
  15. The Valkyrie VKC-711XH-4 is a great rod for treble hook baits. I regularly throw Baitsanity Gill glide, TK, K9, and Wade Hoggs on it with no problem. It is too parabolic for Beast hooks tho. If you're wanting something that can work for treble or Beast hook baits, the Leviathan Daily is a good option.
  16. Hook Up Tackle has the Gladical, and there were a couple of videos that included that bait on their YT.
  17. I have a heavy float Sly 5.9 If you're interested, DM me.
  18. The Calcutta Conquest 200 DC is probably the most recommended reel on this forum. I don't own one, but every owner has praise for them. My personal experience and favorites are Daiwa Z2020 and 18 Zillion HD 1520. The Zillion is a tank (handles 4oz no problem) and is compact and light. The Z2020 is larger and quite a bit heavier.
  19. I've never fished a Ghost, but there is a Korean YouTuber that I follow that has caught quite a few largemouth on the bait. If you want, I can post the links or send them to you.
  20. It seems to be a pretty universal method to soften up stiff plastisol baits. I'd give it a shot, nothing really to lose.
  21. Congrats on beating the knock off artists to market hahaha
  22. I've had a pack in my terminal tackle drawer for a long minute now, never ended up using it yet.

  24. Dunno who the resident Daiwa tech is now, but @MA Frog Man used to be the guy to ask.
