New found success with both the K9 and tk brought in some awesome bites and provided feeding windows during seasonal transition periods, which were time frames I’ve struggled to find sustainable patterns in the past. The Wade Hogg continued to be the most consistent bait in the wheel house, and with the addition of the OG and model and 3 piece, the Hoggs stayed bit from April til November. I had to main goals coming into the season. Goal #1 was to find consistent swimbait bites throughout the year, try new applications when patterns change, identify those patterns and exploit them. My second was a goal we all share, to improve my PB. Although achieving these goals made for a momentous season, it also set the stage for an even bigger season next year. Extremely motivated to get over the top next year and counting the days until ice out. Good luck to you all still fishing this winter, I’ll see you all next spring.
