cchapraps Posted December 21, 2022 Report Share Posted December 21, 2022 Hey guys, I am interested in getting a rod I could throw big glides up to 10oz on but also have enough backbone to drive the hook home on a bigger softbait like a Baitsmith Mag or a 10” Hudd. I saw the Omega XXH is rated for 6-16oz and is the only “fast” action rod out of the omegas. It also lists one of its applications as large soft-plastics so i’m hoping someone here has experience with the rod to tell me if that’s accurate or not, and maybe provide what they typically throw on the XXH.
