Kennedy1055
Hey guys what are some Nail Weight brands/sizes or other weight customization options you use for weighting your soft baits? I've been messing around with weighting Glides and wanted to get into customizing Soft baits too. Thanks!
chefchris
https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Eco_Pro_Tungsten_Nailem_Weights/descpage-EPNW.html I like these, they don't tear up the baits that much and have a nice flat surface in the back to push them in, i use on em on a number of soft baits, hudds, citizens, beast coast, real preys, etc. like mike at wcz has mentioned using too heavy of a beast hook is tearing up the new citizens, so the nail weights in the fins are the way to go I like the nail weights cause it gives the baits a great horizontal presentation, can correct the nosing up on the retrieve easily, can also help baits run true at faster speeds or fix a bait that maybe is tracking to one side. watch this video from Mike, great info about adding weight to soft baits chevro1et, Quinnadamss, Phil A. and 2 others
