  1. Hey SU, Was wondering if anyone knows if these rods share the same action? I have a low down but I'm not a huge fan of the spiral guides. Mainly using it to throw 250s and other 6oz glides. Thanks!
  2. Hey SU! Was wondering what yall's rod preference for throwing jig hook/Beast hook baits? I've messed around throwing hudds and battle shads on both the Expride 80XXHB which is a stiffer rod, but more parabolic and the Leviathan Alpha Soft Swim which is more of a broom stick. Let me know what you think!
  3. Finally got to take my Antares DC MD out this past weekend and it was able to handle a Klash 9 and 3:16 Gizzard with no problems. Still waiting on my Calcutta Conquest MD, but I believe it should be able to handle just as much as the previous Calcutta Conquest.
  4. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Deps_Slide_Swimmer_250_Butch_Brown_Tuned_Glide_Bait/descpage-DSSTGB.html Butch Brown tuned 250s up on TW limited qty and signed!
  5. Hey SU, Looking to invest in a DRT Varial Handle. Besides the Handle and the Nut for your reel, do you still have to purchase the knobs and wheels or does the varial handle come with some already? Thanks!
  6. Hey guys what are some Nail Weight brands/sizes or other weight customization options you use for weighting your soft baits? I've been messing around with weighting Glides and wanted to get into customizing Soft baits too. Thanks!
  7. I've had a chance to fish both the 7'3" and the 7'8". Both are great Entry Level rods. For the price I don't think you can beat it. 7'3" MH Very versatile. Excels in the 1.5-3oz range. Great for fishing baits close quarter. especially for making short, accurate casts with glides around trees and docks. Great for skipping Soft baits up under Docks as well. 7'8" H Very Versatile. Length is good if you prefer to work your bait more with your rod rather than reel. Great Budget option. Especially someone new to Swimbait fishing. Parabolic enough for glides and throwing some Soft baits too.
  8. I have 201HG and have been using it for my TK's and other smaller glides, especially when I'm making casts around cover. Its performed great for me! Haven't fished with an Antares DC MD yet, so I cant compare between the 2.
