NJ_Customs
Hey everyone I’ve been salmon fishing my whole life and caught them on some crazy stuff. I got a few on glide baits already but now thinking of trying an underspin for sh!** and gigs. Just want to hear some other crazy stories about these accidental catches while bass or striper fishing. Morgan Y
I bet that you could put spoons on an a rig and catch salmon like that. BayAreaAngler

Hahaha that’s just asking to snag fish but that would be intense having multiple salmon on at the same time Morgan Y
danthefisherman
I’ve tried but haven’t been very successful with swimbaits… they will take spinnerbaits though so an underspin shouldn’t be too far off. Pretty sure a salmon is responsible for breaking my lucky spinnerbait. Got slammed near a tree by something big and all that I reeled in was a mangled spinnerbait arm with the blades still attached. Wrap braid around the R bend and your spinnerbaits won’t break. It’s essentially the same concept as a twisted eye spinnerbait. Far more durable. Here’s a picture of a deps spinnerbait for reference.
