It’s actually hard to find an exact double with the same month and year. Like I have prob 10 Shad’s but different years and customs paints and what not Ipleadthefish2

But trout is hard to beat. No real changes over the years. Some people think the older ones are different but not really. They change with each batch I think Primus

Swimbait_Jeff
Two piece is my go to , however I like the 3 piece for crank down applications . Great bait and will last forever ! FishDr
Any Slammer will catch fish. I prefer the 2-piece ones but have had some good sessions with the 3-piece as well. The 7” is a good “gateway” bait but the 9” is my go to swimbait of all kinds. thehickorykid

Born 2 fish
I’m going to have to show my 2 9” slammers more love. Mossypumpkin
Mossypumpkin
I think that one of the biggest myths of slammer fishing is that the 7” is a good place to start. From my experience, which I’m sure is different from other places in the country, is that I get more bites on the 9”. And of course more big fish. In fact, if I had to choose one for getting bites, I’d pick the Large over the 7”. I’ve had 20-30 fish days on the Large. That all being said, I don’t fish the 7” much at all. But the 9” is an absolute slayer. I would fish head to head with a 9” slammer against anyone with any other bait, almost any time of year. kondan
I have a few 3 piece 9" slammers and won't use any other slammers. Gets bit!
