DRT Varial Handle Questions

Yes as already answered… you will just need to acquire the appropriate nut for the handle that Will correctly correlate with the reel you are trying to pair it with.

I chimed in not repeat but because I sympathize as It’s all admittedly a bit daunting and feels slightly overwhelming at first glance as there are several options and parts at play to keep track of… Hope this helps:

WCZ/DRT Varial Flat Knobs,

DRT J Knobs Slims &

DRT J Knob Fats,

All Require MK1 Wheels.

If I’m not mistaken the shaft on the  Varial handles is universal and will accept both MK1 Wheels and Dish Wheels… & you just need to have both  types of wheels to have the option to pair different Knobs on the handle.

MK1s allowance more options or “variable” over all.

DRT Varial Eva J  Fat Knobs

DRT Varial J Slims Knobs

DRT Varial J Fat Knobs

DRT Varial Fat Knobs (No J)

DRT Varial Slim Knobs (No J)

All accept/Require the larger car rim resembling Dish Wheels.

Hope this helps.

You are correct, just a slight correction to compatibility.

I'll offer up an easier way at looking at it.

WCZ/DRT flats and any knob with a J on it requires the MK1 wheels.

Anything with without a J on it requires the dish wheels.

Thanks a bunch for this info. I'm a new Varial owner and this was the precise question I had. Your reply needs more likes
