Fishingallday31
Just like most people have said, Lexa if you prefer low pro reels, Cardiff if you prefer round reels. Can you put 20lb mono on Cardiff I fish 20lb Big Game exclusively on my Cardiff. Works fine.

Bikeandbass
At $150 you can pick up a lexa 300,used luna ,used curado 300e, or used calcutta 400b and it is much better for your money spent imho. Watch bbc, bloodydecks, ebay for deals. Good luck

gcopple
i have lexa 300's and cardiff 400's and those are all i use. both are awesome reels. i throw 25lb on the 400's and there is PLENTY of line capacity for that. I typically ahve 20lb in my lexa but 25 wouldn't be an issue either.
paradisepatrick
Hi guys, I'm new to the board and swimbait fishing. I have seen lots of recommendations for the Lexa 300. Has anyone tried the Lexa 400? Which would you suggest and why? Thanks!

Batallas22
Hi guys, I'm new to the board and swimbait fishing. I have seen lots of recommendations for the Lexa 300. Has anyone tried the Lexa 400? Which would you suggest and why? Thanks! I have never owned one but they are very big reels that do not fit all poles. Id make sure the rod is compatible with 400 if you purchase one. Hope this helps
slideaction
Also if u stumble upon a luna 300 for a good price, dont hesitate. Its a great reel
jcolo4sho
Lexa 400s are really not that big. You can Palm one just as easy as a 300 size round reel. I own one and absolutely love it.
