Squid07 Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 Finally got to fish some around the first of October and hooked up with a nice largemouth on the deps 250 BB natural trout. Casted into a shady spot on the lake where there appeared to be an underwater tree and about 2-3 seconds into it hitting the water had one hit it but no hookup. Reeled it a little ways and saw a bass come after it from the side and just roll on it. Finally got her in the boat only to realize that the guy I was fishing with had a pair of crappy scales that didn't work. It looks like a solid 6 lb to me but I could be wrong.
