Caught my own Swimbait Rod

Tried a new rod holder arrangement on the kayak and let's just say it didn't work it.

I went to put my Dobyns 795/Curado 201 with an Alabama Rig on it away, and it bounced back up, hit the back of the kayak, and went in to the pond.

As I tried to swing the bow around and net it, it slowly disappeared, I finally hit MOB on the Garmin and began to re-rig

Trying to think straight I rigged my largest treble hook with a load of dropshot sinkers and started to drag, I ended up moving a bit and sure enough I could see the rod on sidescan plain as day, it looked like a shepherds crook

Unfortunately I didn't grab a screenshot of to the side, but I took this one where I believe it was right below me.

30 minutes later and I eventually snagged it and brought it up
