No i see it as im snapping lures off left and right is you cant truely use something if you dont use it. 6k on a reel. Its only worth 6k to you if you put each and every scratch on it yourself. But then again 6k is 6k lol. I once bought a old fly rod from a kid he dound hidden in his gramps closet a fwew yrs ago. His gramps went to a nursing home. I paid 200 for it. It was valued at 2700 with the vintage fly reel with it. I bought it to hang on the wall- i was told itll damadge. I live in tx, a guy wanted it so bad he drove from colorado and paid cash for it with cash and drove back. I didnt know how to flyfish and wasnt gonna do that with this small vintage bamaboo rod. I took that money and bought a stouter starter rod with all the money i collected ofd that rod. That guy still fishes that rod i sold him today without a worry.
