Raymo
I have just discovered this place and I have a few questions. #1. what does “bump” mean? #2. what does “TYD” mean? #3. what is a good, wooden alternative to the Pat’s Perch that doesn’t cost as much as a used car? Thanks in advance for any information, I have already learned so much from my limited time poking around this site.
SumoNinja
Bump is when someone has a thread, most likely a sale/buy thread that got pushed down the page or to the next page by other threads and they type "bump" to get their thread up to the top of the page for more eyes to see. You'll see people type bump, or up, or to the top, etc Tyd means to your door. So $50 tyd is letting u know there's no extra shipping cost. Because some will ask $50, plus $10 extra to ship. By saying tyd, it means all the buyer will pay is $50. You'll also see $50 shipped. Means the same thing as tyd. For the pats, I'd say a slammer is kinda similar although they're totally different baits Edited April 19, 2023 by SumoNinja GetTight21, Raymo and Dink whisperer 2
Jerkbait22
1. Bumping a thread to the top of the forum 2. To Your Door 3. Depends on the specific model and whether you want a wake or a crankdown. MS Slammer for a wake. For crankdown that’s a harder question, possibly MBD Bug rock for a gill profile crankdown that’s wood. GetTight21 and Raymo 1
