I am planning a trip to clear lake this weekend. Anybody knows any hotels by the lake that is nice and convenient for fishing? Planning on mostly shore fishing, so hotels with easy access to good shore fishing spots will he great. Recommendations?

Lots of Hotels around the lake have docks, but the water is so low right now there isn't that much water around them. Not widespread shore access except at the city park areas. Lakeport launch ramp area has good shore access and it is not too far of a drive from there to the state and county parks as well.

I stayed at The skylark in Lakeport last weekend. Lots of people shore fishing with live bait all around there and the 5th and 7th st boat launch. Konocti Casino and Hotel has some dock you can fish. Maybe Ferndale in Soda bay has some shore fishing and docks as well, there are some good swimbait fish being caught around those dock and the old paddle boat in the water. overall there isn't the greatest shore access at Clear lake. My buddy caught a 13 lber on a swim bait of the docks of Konocti Harbor resort before it closed down.
