  1. That is definitely not a Tacklewarehouse problem, other than them selecting a carrier that isn’t consistent for your area. Just ask Tacklewarehouse not to use GSO for your orders. Their customer service department has always been really responsive. GSO is great if you live in a service area near where the drivers pick up.
  2. What he said^^ really easy to slit open belly and clip the lead. It doesn’t take much to change the sink rate. I cut a section from the middle of the lead so the bait sank more horizontal.
  3. What does the top of te 14" TT say?!
  4. slammer - $65 pending but no payments sent... Real Deal - $260 - paint chipped on edge of front left joint and at left pectoral fin. very minor hook rash Hiroshima Soft Tail - $140 near mint. Tail was slightly trimmed to match size. Keeping OG Toxic wooden Mink style bait and Hiro Hard Tail
  5. Free style trout is sold. Mink bait has 7.5" body, but see Ceasar's comment above. Not the current style Mink in production
  6. HPH sold. slammer is 10" from line tie to tail. custom painted (by BB if i remember correctly)

  8. Entertaining serious offers only. Don't waste your time with lower than original retail. Don't need to sell, but someone probably wants them more than I do. PayPal only, fees and priority shipping included for best offers. No trades except for maybe 250's in trout colors hinckley707@yahoo.com
  9. Try fishing a white rising son shallow, walk the whole bank paralleling any cover available especially tules. put on waders if you need to have better access. try something different than the point you havent caught a fish on in 10 trips. Big bass will get suprisingly shallow in summertime weed beeds
  10. its an original 6" baitsmith. Most would refer to it as a 6" hitch if you were anywhere near NorCal, but obviously it imitates a shiner or almost any other minnow quite well. Ive got a dozen or so in good shape...
  11. There is 5+ years of knowledge on here if someone would take the time to do some research instead of asking the same damn questions over and over. Or even worse folks regurgitating answers that they had only read and never experienced themselves. The problem began with swimbaiting becoming a "hip" thing to do. The site was overwhelmed with newbies that had never figured out how to catch a bass on a jig before they were buying $200 baits. Then posting pics of every 2lber they caught. Nationwide it is not such a problem, but in California everybody and their brother was throwing swimbaits. Swimbait OG's quit sharing much info because they saw the increased pressure and the easy bite disappearing quickly. Can you blame them? At what expense do you give up your secrets to success. No internet glory fame is worth not catching 1/4 of the fish you used too. Why would someone burn their own bite? Blurred back grounds became a necessity because of the spot burner epidemic. Don't get me wrong, I fully appreciated the info that was shared by some generous guys back in the day. But I understand completely why they have all disappeared too.
  12. No chance it was a bass 'biting' thru the line. Always investigate the break point. If it was in the knot your line would have a noticeable kink usually. If it was a toothy critter bite off I would assume you would see a clean cut
  13. Its easy to open up the belly and cut a little lead out too if you really want it to slow down. The line you use will make a difference too
  14. Sounds like you need to put a little more muscle into it. If you can pull it out a fish definitely will...
  15. 6-8 ft? Come on that's shallow. Diving certificate? How is the bottom? Do you know almost exactly where it is? Drag something around the bottom to snag the trebles. People have used weighted netting or fencing to retrieve lures before, be a little creative....
  16. I have a rof 5 and 12 light gill and a rof 5&12 crappie. Out of package but in perfect condition. The one I threw swam just fine. $30 each shipped.
  17. I have 4 baits to sell. rof 5 & 12 light gills and rof 5 & 12 crappie. No package, good as new.
  18. I keep some cans of sardines in the boat usually. Eat them with some triscuits. Lots of protein and plenty o fiber. Usually bring some apples and granola bars too.
