ThatKidInNY Posted May 3, 2023 Report Share Posted May 3, 2023 Got out to the local hotspot today for a couple hours. Caught a small fish second cast on my Biggs glide. Then went about 20mins before hooking up and dumping another fish that I think was a big crappie. About an hour later I got two small smallies and dumped one in the 3-4lb range. Made the switch to the DRT riser jack burning it along the rocks and had a decent fish come up and miss it 2nd cast. Threw it for a little bit and got discouraged and started to walk back to switch up again. I decided to cast out about 20ft and let the bait slowly wake as I walked back when it got hammered. 3.79lb old fish.
