Fried Lemons
Thanks to @Randykast for getting me off the bank and being there to witness and document my failures. First up is a thick fish that ate a mirror trout Deps 250. Being new to canoe fishing I let the fish jump one too many times. IMG_223072522.MOV This one really stung. Here I lose a 45"+ tiger muskie on that same mirror trout 250. Not sure I could have stopped this fish from jumping but my drag was a bit loose and may have played a part in this fish shaking off. urbanhick
Hard to keep the stuck on that 250, at least for me it is. Fried Lemons
FishDr
On the plus side you're getting bit, consistently! Big fish with powerful head shakes - sometimes you get them, sometimes not. At long ranges like with that musky, there's not a whole lot you can do to discourage jumping, at least in my experience.
