Habitual_lip_ripper
I have a slim gil glide from a bait maker that for some reason I really want to turn into a 3 piece swimmer. Has anyone tried this? Curious how weighting differs from glide to 3 piece swimmers. My best guess is I may need to weight the tail section created after cutting some to make it sit right in the water. Any advice appreciated thanks all! Big Epp
I don't have any great insight here, but a picture of the top and side profile might be helpful.
azsouth
Difficult road ahead, not knowing ballast position, Balance of bait, Type of material....That is just for starting to convert the bait. My suggestion would be to make a cast of the bait and start from there. Habitual_lip_ripper
flaswimbaiter
To make a multi joint bait you are going to prob need to add weight to the additional piece you cut. For fluid movement all pieces should have some type of ballast. Habitual_lip_ripper

I would post a picture but the maker hasn’t released it yet so no can do. Appreciate the insight, not sure if I will have the balls to do this or not lol.
