She’s been hanging around a patch of bluegill beds since the spawn and she’s followed my slyguy gill countless times but I couldn’t get her to eat. Tonight I crept up and made a cast just past the bluegill beds standing 20ft away from the bank and she sucked the bait down almost immediately. First big fish running braid to leader and I think I’m sold. 80lb power pro connected to 20lb maxima by an Alberto knot helped me horse her in and flip her abt a foot onto the bank above.
