Biggs Denali reviews

I’ve personally caught some big bass and numbers on the Denali. I’ve heard some rumors on the new 8” Denali having some issues awhile back, but I haven’t experienced any issues with mine. They are definitely one of my confidence baits and throw them all the time. Ryan is a cool dude too. AE698BAC-F343-4CAB-9EF2-44C05C090030.thumb.jpeg.1f4512f5b4b6d09d89a86507941ca525.jpeg7B5D5DB8-E0E1-4EA0-B175-A8B88926C949.thumb.jpeg.a791b72daf75d4dbd5cbecf44c012ba7.jpeg59910484-BA5C-4088-AD12-0980F8803DED.thumb.jpeg.46d744b79cf8734c251da0596791cdb9.jpeg219F583C-2983-436F-AD9B-AB96AFFAC728.thumb.jpeg.51f21aa59d1b854f50af9dcff45ca56b.jpeg

Only issues I have with the 6in Denali was it always came to the surface when walked. Would kind of blow out. Added a ton of weight to it to keep it down. The Kraken I like the way it swims and stays down well. Not sure if the new ones were addressed with the blowout issue.

I like fishing the 7" Denali like a jerk bait or slowly with twitches mixed in in colder/cooler water temps. Have gotten a few good fish on them. Not many but the ones I've gotten have been chunks. I've bought quite a few of them, and to be honest... they're somewhat all different in how they swim. I never really know what I'm going to get. Like other reviews have said, they are not a glide you can really fish fast. They will come up to the top. But that's actually sort of a good thing if you're fishing from the bank.

Biggs has been really good with responding to messages and he will replace any bait that doesn't swim right. Kind of a hassle... but he will stand behind his baits.

Wanted to add that my review was not entirely correct or complete.

I have a couple of 7” Denalis that have a really cool and darting swim and you can fish them fairly fast to medium fast. Not all of them come up to the top.

Have gotten a striper close to 20 pounds on one. And I think my PB swimbait smallmouth on another one. That smallie was maybe four and a half pounds. Not many fish but they’ve been solid ones.
