bassfishing24/7 Posted July 10, 2023 Report Share Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) Just started fishing one of my local park lakes again recently...fished it Friday I missed a couple bites also had my litre line snap on the first hookset...luckily the fish didn't get hooked & I was able to recover my bait..I figured I'd give it another shot today...and it paid off...hit a few areas & tried a couple different baits w no luck...about to call it a day just before sunset so I decided to make a couple casts... Bombed one far out then slowly twitched the bait back then boom!! My favorite gill bait to date by a local bait maker DAVE (lbswimbaits) on IG it's tuned as a subsurface (1-1.5ft)/slow float glide bait. Check out his stuff on IG! Super cool guy w awesome baits!
