basskid95
Haven't fished the okumas, but the Irod Bailey Swim is a great hudd rod for the money. JulienThamer

Would the Bailey swim be too much for 68s and other 2-3 oz softies?

If it's anything like the actual hudd rod which I have definitely a yes. I Rod made the hudd rod for huddleston it's definitely designed for a big jig hook soft bait. It does have the same 3-10 oz rating as the bailey XH if that helps. Edited September 4, 2023 by urbanhick JulienThamer

I don't think it would be too much for that range. I liked mine for that 2-5 ounce the best. JulienThamer

Mossypumpkin
Dobyns 807 would be legit leaps and bounds better than those two, imo. I used to fish the Okuma rods and had an Irod 8’6” Bailey. The Irod was horribly balanced compared to the Dobyns 867 and the actions and tapers on the Okuma rods was terrible as well I thought. The Dobyns 807 will work even with a weedless 8” as well as the 68 or even 6”. I love it for weedless 68s. And they’re 20% off at American legacy fishing right now JulienThamer, 253caster and Morgan Y
