96straight Posted October 8, 2023 Report Share Posted October 8, 2023 Can any diawa guys help understand what’s going on with my reel? I was out musky fishing with it and I was doing nothing out of the ordinary just ripping some rubber and the drag just simply stopped working and the reel handle started to go backwards with any tension in the line. I’m very unimpressed considering the reel has been used for one summer with not much abuse. here’s a video that shows what I’m talking about. lux036 Posted October 10, 2023 Report Share Posted October 10, 2023 Looks like you had a faulty anti reverse bearing. Easy to replace, just don't know if the part is available.
