That’s incredible about your fish possibly being 20 years old. Looks like it could live 5 more easily. Head on it looks like it bulldozes rocks easily while hunting crawdads. I have been fishing mostly from the bank this fall. Have had two nice smallies in the neighborhood of 4 pounds. First on a trick shad and second on a 7” Denali. Have had a WCZ travel board in my backpack but I’m not gonna take it out until I get a really special fish. It’s so much easier to just take a fast pix and get the fish back in the water instead of messing with things in my backpack. Glad you had such an amazing day.
