Bsampson
For boat guys (no padded deck) what shoes do you find comfortable in the winter? I need a shoe/boot that is cushioned, waterproof, and ideally warm as o fish a lOt of days below freezing. After a day on the boat when I have to wear my mucks my knees and hips are killing me so I want to find something that is more comfortable. 5-20
Merrell Hiking boots with goretex. I think the model I have is the ankle high Moab. Very comfortable with wool socks. Might take a while to break in but once they do they should be totally great. Have done a lot of bank fishing in some wet terrain for the last 3 years and they've stayed totally dry this whole time. Bruce
I have started to wear vessi shoes or boots. they are waterproof and super comfortable. i spend alot of time in deck boots and these have replaced the need for them most of the time.
