swole_t Posted January 20, 2014 Report Share Posted January 20, 2014 Ive been on the forum for awhile and have yet to contribute to this part of the forum because I feel like I haven't caught anything worth posting. But I see that people are posting pics of fish of all sizes so I will start to post some of mine. Caught like 10 today this one was the biggest, caught on a slow sink hard gill in female pattern. Caught her just as it was getting dark enough to hardly see. I casted parallel to the shore and waked the hardgill right under the surface. She hit the bait with seemly little intent. I casted back and the second time and she ate it. Didn't fight much, I think she may have been sitting on a nest, im not too sure but the fish looked to have eggs, i released her back in the spot i caught here. It weighed 3 1/2 pounds.
