pstunna
Hey guys I recently was given a Penn international 965 from my father who had it his basement for the last 8 years brand new. I'm aware its intention is to be used in salt water buy I am planning on trying it out chucking some big baits. This would be great and save me on buying a new reel as my current one isn't made for anything too big. Just wondering if anyone has used this reel/ if it would suffice it not? Any input would be great thanks guys!
brewtownbasser
A penn 965 should work well for swimbaits…the guts are very similar in design to a calcutta 400. Happy chuckin
