Garrettlikesbass
why are you stepping on him? Wasnt putting pressure on him its just to keep his tail from flopping around and getting a hook in me. Thats what happened last time so i try to put my foot over it in a little boat so it wont happen again.

LUV-2-CATCH'EM
Nice fish! You don't have to step on a fish to avoid getting hooked-You could injure a fish you intend on releasing. Simply lip the bass and unhook...Glad you got a nice one!
Lurejerk
Easy guys, He's a little gun shy last month he had to go to the emergency room because of it. 4lb'r got into him with the baby wake. #1 treble down to the shank. The fish was having no mercy on him. I had to cut the Treble off the wake so he could head to ER. Tough young man he was back out there the next day. Garrettlikesbass
Ya what lurejerk said. I want even puttin presure on the bass just putting my foot over it so it wouldent flop. If you guys wouldall like to pitch in and buy me a mesh net that would be great then you wouldent have to comment any thing. I was judt trying to stop him from flopping and putting a hook in my leg again. She swam off fine i had her out of the water for like 30 seconds.
